Our Mission

At RDI our mission is to provide our clients with on-time delivery of quality products and services while continually pursuing customer and employee excellence.

Although Red Deer Ironworks is on a growth trajectory, we remain committed to the small company values that we were founded on. Our branch locations have a direct line to our team of flow-control iron specialists and engineers, enabling us to minimize downtime and restore oil and gas production as quickly as possible.

2006

  • RDI is established in Red Deer, Alberta to provide quality flow control equipment to the oilfield.

2010

  • RDI acquires Fracserve to establish recertification work.
  • RDI becomes a turn-key, full service manufacturer with the expansion of the recertification division.
  • The 1st RDI USA facility opens in Indiana, PA.
  • RDI Clairmont, AB is founded.

2011

  • Moved into a larger facility to accommodate our growing manufacturing needs.
  • APEGA permitted to practice in house engineering.

2012

  • RDI Fruita, CO is founded.

2013

  • RDI Minot, ND becomes the milestone 5th facility to begin operations.
  • ISO 9001 Registration.

2014

  • RDI Frederick, CO is founded to extend our already strong presence in the Midwest.
  • RDI earns API Q1 and 6A certification.

2019

  • RDI Casper, WY is founded.
  • Red Deer Specialties, TX is founded and quickly becomes a one stop supply store to service the heart of Texas.
  • Achieved DNV certification to expand our international clientele.

2020

  • New recertification and shipping building is opened to accommodate significantly more inventory, as well as help us better serve our valued customers.
  • RDI purchases fleet of mobile units as well as storage facilities to service customers on location.

2022

  • Clairmont location relocates to a larger facility and doubles their workforce.

Red Deer Specialties Flow-Control Store

U.S. Flow-Control Maintenance Hub

We launched the Red Deer Specialties flow-control store in Fort Worth, Texas to better serve our U.S. customers. This oilfield equipment store carries a comprehensive inventory of RDI and various flow-control iron parts from fittings, caps, pipes, and tubing to valves, chokes, inserts, and job site toolboxes.
